How do I get to the festival venue in Rishikesh? (Transportation)?

There are many ways to get to our Yoga Center in Rishikesh. You could come by flight, bus, train or taxi. However, we recommend taking a flight. The closest airport to Rishikesh is in Dehradun. You could book a fligh from your country to Delhi and then a domestic one from Delhi to Dehradun. It is a short flight (30 minutes) and wont cost you much. We could arrange a taxi pick up for you from Dehradun Airport, costing around $20. The drive from Dehradun airport our Yoga Center is only 30 minutes. We do not provide a taxi pick up from Delhi or Haridwar. Click here for more information

Do I require Visa?

Important note about passports

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in India. You should also be able to demonstrate an outbound flight from India and have at least two blank pages in your passport, or you may be denied embarkation by your airline. Please keep a photocopy of your passport and immigration entry stamp with you at all times.


VISAS

In order to enter India all attendees must be eligible for a Free Visa, a Visa on Arrival (VOA) or have applied for a Tourist Visa in their respective country before travel.

What are the essentials I should get for the festival?

In general, please pack light and avoid bringing items which are likely to end up a waste. Specifically, you will need light and comfortable clothing for workshops, a reusable water bottle and yoga mat (available in festivals market place as well). In addition, it would be useful to bring an unlocked phone so that you can buy a local SIM card for cheap calls, texts and mobile data. A card with sufficient credit for a week costs about USD 5.
You may also wish to bring a small towel for daytime workshops as it can get quite warm during the day.

In which language are the festival training programs taught?

English is the medium for the Yoga Teacher Training program or workshops so it is good to be knowledgeable in English. There are no restrictions though. People who are not proficient at English can also enroll for the program because yoga is connected with the spirit, feelings and emotions.

What are refunds and exchange policies?

Are tickets available for a day?

Yes! Our 1-Day Pass gives access for 1 date of the festival - including all daytime activities and the night-time music concert on the same day. Pass is available for every day of the festival. you can buy them from Buy Tickets

Do we need to buy passes for children?

Children below 2 years do not require any pass. 2-12 year olds need pass and are available at discounted rates. People above 12 years will require normal pass.

Are passes for Indian Nationals different?

Yes, we offer discounted rates for Indian nationals.

Do I need to bring my yoga mat with me?

You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer and new mats can also be purchased in the Community Market.

What is the availability of daily use products nearby festival venue ?

Festival venue is nearby a market where you can find all necessities with ease.
